PAELLA

Paella is the most popular dish in Spain. It is a dish which Spanish eat specially on Sundays for lunch. This is the perfect dish to cook outdoor while all the family get together and catch up. The name of Paella comes from the traditional pan where it is normally cook. The mean of paella is “frying pan”. Paella pans are round and flat. The thinner you cook a paella the tastiest it becames.

 

Depends on which region of Spain you are, the type of Paella can vary from meat till seafood. The traditional paella is the Chicken, rabbit and snails but if you go to the North the Seafood one is more common to find. Nowadays there are many types of Paellas. The essential ingredients are rice, saffron and paprika and then you can make any version you want!
